Quick Start:

Alert! is very easy to use! To find and fix potential problems of the machine you are running on, simply click the Local button in the Alert! window. This will set Alert! in motion.  You should expect to see the activity light on your disk drive flashing madly as Alert! combs through the drive looking for potential problems. On a typical machine, this takes just a few seconds.

When the analysis is complete, Alert! will display a new window showing all files with which there are potential problems.
